IV drips,
tailored to you.

IV drips deliver fluids, electrolytes and vitamins directly into a vein through a small cannula, in a calm and comfortable setting. Every treatment starts with a consultation, where we review your health history and wellbeing goals to decide whether a drip is appropriate and which formulation may suit you.

Results vary from person to person.

IV drips treatment

How it works

What a session involves

Intravenous means into the vein. A fine cannula is placed, usually in the arm, and a bag containing saline with selected vitamins or electrolytes is infused slowly. Because it bypasses digestion, it is designed to support hydration. The contents vary according to the agreed plan.

  1. Consultation

We review your health history, medicines and goals, and check whether an IV drip is appropriate.

  2. The session

A small cannula is placed in your arm and the drip runs while you relax, usually 30 to 45 minutes.

  3. Aftercare

We remove the cannula, apply a dressing and advise you to drink water and rest if needed.

  4. Review

We discuss how you felt afterwards and whether, and how often, further drips may be suitable.

Before you book

Is it right for you?

IV drips are not suitable for everyone. Your consultation includes a careful review of your health history, including heart and kidney conditions, medicines and allergies. We may advise against a drip during pregnancy or if your health history means another option is more appropriate.

Questions

The honest answers

Drips are usually based on saline, a solution of salt in water, with electrolytes or vitamins added. The formulation is chosen at consultation according to your health and goals.

Most sessions take around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the drip selected. You can relax, read or work quietly while it runs.

This depends on your health and goals. Some people choose an occasional drip, others a regular plan. We agree a frequency with you after your consultation and first session.
