Lanluma,
volume built gradually.

Lanluma is a collagen-stimulating injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid, used to add volume and improve skin quality on areas such as the buttocks, hips and thighs. Every treatment starts with a consultation, where we assess the area, discuss your goals and agree a course that suits your body.

Results vary from person to person.

Lanluma treatment

How it works

What a session involves

Poly-L-lactic acid is a biocompatible material that, once injected beneath the skin, is designed to encourage the body’s own collagen production. Rather than adding immediate bulk, changes develop gradually over several weeks as new collagen forms. A course of one or two sessions is typical.

  1. Consultation

We assess the area, review your health history and agree a course and realistic timeline together.

  2. The session

The product is prepared and injected into the treatment area using a fine cannula or needle.

  3. Aftercare

We explain post-treatment massage and aftercare; mild swelling or bruising may occur for a day or two.

  4. Review

We review you four to six weeks later and decide together whether a further session is needed.

Before you book

Is it right for you?

Lanluma is not suitable for everyone. Your consultation includes a review of your health history, allergies and medicines, and any previous treatments in the area. We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and certain health conditions may mean another option is more appropriate.

Questions

The honest answers

Lanluma is commonly used on the buttocks, hips and thighs, and to improve the look of skin texture. We assess each area at consultation and advise on what is realistic.

Many people have one or two sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Your plan depends on the area and your goals, and we agree this with you at consultation.

Changes develop gradually as collagen builds and may last up to around two years. Duration varies with your body’s response, lifestyle and the number of sessions.
