How it works
What a session involves
Profhilo is injected at set points, where it spreads beneath the skin rather than staying in one place. Unlike a filler, it does not aim to add volume or change shape. It is designed to hydrate and support collagen and elastin, improving the look of tone and texture.

Profhilo is injected at a small number of set points in each area using a fine needle.

Aftercare
Small bumps or redness may last 24 to 48 hours; avoid make-up and exercise that day.

We see you again four to six weeks later for your second session and to review progress.

Is it right for you?
Profhilo is not suitable for everyone. At consultation we review your health history, allergies, medicines and any previous treatments in the area. We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and active skin infection or certain conditions may mean we delay or suggest an alternative.

Fillers add volume and structure. Profhilo spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration and skin quality, without changing the shape of your face.
We usually recommend two sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, though your plan may vary. Maintenance sessions can be discussed at review.
Many people find effects last around six to twelve months, depending on skin condition, age, lifestyle and maintenance. We can discuss a maintenance plan at your review.
