How it works
What a session involves
Microcurrent uses very low electrical currents, measured in millionths of an amp, delivered through handheld probes. These currents are designed to stimulate facial muscles and circulation, which may improve the look of tone and contour. Most people feel little more than a light tingle.

Is it right for you?
Electrotherapy facials are not suitable for everyone. At consultation we ask about pacemakers, epilepsy, metal implants, pregnancy, recent facial treatments and skin conditions. Some of these mean microcurrent is not appropriate, and we will suggest an alternative where possible.

Questions
The honest answers
Most people feel a light tingling or nothing at all, as the currents are very low. Many find the session relaxing, and we adjust settings for comfort throughout.
Some people notice a refreshed look after one session. For longer-lasting changes, we usually suggest a course of four to six treatments, followed by monthly maintenance.
It suits people looking to refresh and tone the face without needles, particularly those noticing early signs of ageing or softer facial definition.
